Biography Tim Shoemaker - Tenor

I was raised in the church. Well, not literally… Actually I was raised next door to the church. For several years, we lived in the little house that was in the church parking lot, while my parents were the caretakers of the church. The parking lot and church front lawn were my playground. I remember "Playing Church" when I was 4 or 5 years old when the church podium was moved out onto the lawn for new carpet. I also remember giving sermons from the pulpit while my father vacuumed. |

Biography Rich McIntyre - Lead

Hello GGQ Supporters!! I can tell you one thing for sure; I love the Lord and want to serve Him!! Sometimes I wish I had a “better” or more “interesting” testimony, but, on the other hand, I’m glad I don’t, because I really have not experienced a “heavy” past with a life that was void of God, where I was in trouble & sunk to the depths of sin. Nope! In actuality, I was born & raised into a strong, Christian home with a family who always went to church, prayed, read the Bible together and was very involved in church activities. It was a wonderful upbringing. |

Biography Robert Marton - Bass

I grew up as a PK in a solid Christian home where our Sundays were consumed by church and our social life revolved around church functions. As a teenager, Christ touched my life and the reality of his saving work has been continually unfolding ever since. I have enjoyed a rich heritage of singing 4-part harmony in Sunday school at a young age; even before any of us boys could hit the low bass notes. Growing up in a large family, my parents demonstrated the priority and centrality of gospel music in our lives, even when it meant making great sacrifices. They made sure we would be taught to read, play and sing gospel music (even if it was against our will) that when we grew up, we could minister to the church. |
